Michaela has lived in Vermont for 40 years. After a career as a classroom and art teacher, she started oil painting. Michaela has attended workshops with professional artists and has taken classes at the Middlebury Studio School. 

She enjoys plein-air painting with local painter friends, and continues to be inspired by the shapes and colors of our landscape and surroundings. 

Being able to work in Provincetown with Mary Giammarino was a wonderful, inspiring experience and she hopes to be back to The Cape School of Art again soon.
