When I retired from maritime work in 2012, I took up painting to fulfill a lifelong interest. I was fortunate to be introduced to The Cape School of Art early on and have taken and eventually taught classes there every year since. I particularly like marine and landscape subjects, with still life taking up some of the slack of the winter months.

Impressionism never gets old for me, it is a continuous learning experience. It is a pleasure to share the results with like minded people.
