Catherine Shearer-Neily has always been inspired by color and light..
Her landscape paintings in oil, water color and White line woodcut prints express her personal observations of nature.
Shearer-Neily has studied privately since 1984 and recently at the Cape School of Art.
Catherine is also accomplished in traditional Chinese brush painting which she continues to study.
She feels that these several techniques combine to create in her work a unique and inspiring vision.
